Spanish company specialized in the production of gourmet extra virgin olive oil is looking for distributors for their products in European countries. The extra virgin olive produced is of single-varietal and native regional varieties of the Mediterranean coast and comes in different sizes and packages. The aim for the distributors is to on-sell to specialized gourmet retail shops and HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant and Catering) channel with the aim to reach a gourmet final customer.

This is a Spanish family-owned company which produces premium extra virgin olive oil of different olive varieties: Single-varietal Arbequina, Canetera and Borriolenca and an “assemblage” of the three of them. Arbequina is a much-appreciated well-known variety, whereas Borriolenca and Canetera are native regional varieties from Castellón area. The olive oil is grown and produced in a 61 hectares state overlooking the Mediterranean sea in Castellon province, in the Valencian region in Spain. Extreme care is put into every part of the production process, carried out with traditional methods. The state is also energy efficient and environmentally friendly with systems for rational use of water and electricity and its own solar power farm. Its extra virgin olive oil is presented in different formats and packages: 25cl and 50cl glass bottle and 2l and 25cl tin. This olive oil is addressed to a premium gourmet customer who appreciates real olive oil taste, an innovative image and packaging and is concerned about a healthy diet. Arbequina olive oil is very well adapted to international tastes with a mild, delicate, fruity flavour, whereas Borriolenca and Canetera are more unique for a more daring innovative customer, because of the stronger but delicious flavour. This gourmet brand has achieved good reviews and awards in the world of extra virgin olive oil: Gold medal for Borriolenca olive oil in CINVE Congress (Spain), inclusion in Flos Olei Guide (International), participation in Oli Premium show (Madrid) and quality seal by QVEXTA (Spain). In 2016 they obtained an outstanding qualification in the prestigious Terraolivo international olive oil competition, which is held yearly in Israel: The Grand Prestige Gold Award for their Borriolenca variety extra virgin olive oil and the Prestige Gold Award for their Canetera variety. The company has recently engaged in “olive oil tourism”. They organize group visits to their groves where guests can learn about the history of the product and visit the olive mill where the oil is extracted. The company also offers olive oil tastings and regional Mediterranean meals, where olive oil rules the menu. They do not have much experience in the international markets but have a well prepared team to start selling in European countries. They are looking for distributors which deal with gourmet food products. Another interesting profile would be gourmet retail shops / delicatessen shops which can buy directly from international producers.
