Description

Oral chemotherapy treatments that allow patients to administer the treatment independently at home are growing in their adoption rate. Hospitals need to adjust their methods of work based on less visits at the hospital and a better coordination between all healthcare professionals involved. The challenge is to find the optimal way to communicate with the patients in order to ensure compliance with the treatment, support and follow-up of adverse reactions. On the other hand, patients need also to obtain accurate information about their treatment and their disease, details about anything that may impact their daily life in relation to the cancer, communicate with other patients. The company has many years of experience in developing databases for clinical trials in the oncology sector. This experience was the starting point to start thinking about a solution to solve this challenge. The company is currently developing a web platform to be used as a communication tool between patients and their oncologist, based on the feedback they received from several healthcare professionals and association of patients they interviewed. The company is interested by Healthcare professionals (Oncologists, hospitals, clinics,...), healthcare authorities, associations of patients, research centers, drug agencies partners in order to improve the application, use and/or implement such an app throught distribution, services or subcontracting agreement.
