The open architecture exoskeleton developed by the Spanish company, can completely emulate the process of human walking. In this way, a person with brain injury or cerebral palsy patients with lower limb affected can walk by using his/her own legs, when wearing it, with the aid of a cane or similar support asset and/or the aid of a health professional person. It is also indicated to assist in walking to those people that have partially lost the capacity of walking or to those people that need to “learn how to walk anew” after suffering an accident or neurological disease, such as spinal injury, cerebrovascular accidents and in general for any cerebral damage acquired that limits the ability to walk. Also, it is very useful for maintaining the tone of the legs and to activate the blood circulation of persons that have lost mobility in the lower limbs or have muscle weakness. Main features are the following: -Communication: • CAN (Controller Area Network) communication • Wifi • Bluetooth -Sensors: • Joint position. • Joint interaction torque. • Foot/ground contact (heel and toe). -Actuators: • 6 Degrees of freedom in the sagittal plane. • 6 motors (hips, knees and ankles). • 6 Strain wave gearing. -Applications: • Biomechanical engineering. • Control engineering. • Gait Analysis. -Physical features: • Dimensions: 1.180 mm tall x 150 mm long (side view) x 230 mm wide (front view). • Weight: approx. 11 Kg. • Main structure material: Stainless steel and type 7005 aluminum. • Adaptable to people from 1.45 to 1.95 meters tall. Max. user’s weight: 100 Kg. -Electrical features: • Power upply: Battery LiFePO4 (22,4 VDC @ 12 Ah). • Charger: 100 – 240 V AC / 50-60 Hz (AC Power Line). • Working Time (23 ± 3 ℃): Up to 6 Hours. • Easy battery replacement to improve the working time. The company is looking for partners within the healthcare sector willing to cooperate under commercial agreement with technical assistance.

Advantages and innovations

-Main advantage that makes this thechnology diferent to other similar exoskeletons is that it is designed with an open architecture that allows the user (being a therapist, professor or researcher) to modify and adjust the control parameters of the system. Therefore, it provides better performance for the patient’s needs, as opposed to other exoskeletons which are systems with a completely closed architecture. - Light and compact.

How it works

  • Tell us about yourself
  • We’ll discuss with you
  • We put the right partners in touch

EEN help you find the right partner, rather than you going it alone.

Our role is to review and collate the most suitable submissions, and then send them to the client who posted the opportunity. We consult with you, and the client, to make the process professional and easy.

These are live opportunities. Your registration of interest on the site is just like a professional approach to a business at a networking event. To stand the best chance of success, make your submission really sing. Sell why the client who posted the opportunity should work with you. Excite them. Ask questions. Try and avoid copy and pasting words from elsewhere.

Once the client has chosen their partner, we'll introduce them over email and keep in touch with both parties to see how it's going. Sometimes things progress quickly. Sometimes because of changing priorities for either party, things progress slowly, but you never know - your next big business break could start right here.
