The company is looking for ICT partners (such as engineering or consultancy companies) that are involved in technical projects in which a motion and navigation tool for positioning and sharing data is needed (for example project in the fields of motion data logging, location-based services, search & rescue, research, outdoors & sports, drones, IoT (Internet of Things), intelligent transport systems, etc.) The role of the partner sought is to integrate this technology within its project under commercial agreement with technical assistance. The technical assistance offered by the Spanish company consist on helping the partner to integrate its technology within the project and solve any possible technical questions that might arise.
Nowadays, many different technological projects from a wide range of sectors (drones, sports, search & rescue, research…) require to position an object and collect data at the same time. Nevertheless, since there wasn’t a solution in the market ready to be used, whenever a technician had to carry out a project with the mentioned requirements, the amount of work was much higher because they had to integrate different technologies such as sensors, positioning, connectivity, software, etc. In this context, a Spanish company specialized in satellite navigation technologies, has developed a compact integrated motion and navigation electronic device designed for open-source programming that includes a GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) and a set of sensor providing positioning and motion data. It also provides autonomy and the capability for processing, storing, and transferring data. It can also integrate the most popular wireless communications modules, enabling internet connections and to create wireless networks with other motion and navigation devices or with any other external equipment. The technology architecture is based in three main pillars: -It integrates a multi-constellation GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receiver for processing accurate positioning receiver, navigation and timing data, and a set of 3D motion sensors that provide all the information regarding altitude, orientation, angular rate and pressure. -Power and control unit: It can be powered either by a battery, or through micro-usb cable. The power control unit provides regulated voltages for the board and recharges the battery when USB and battery are connected. -Microcontroller: It enables the processing of sensors’ data, store them if needed, and manage the wireless communication nodule or any other interface to external devices. Main features are the following: -Smart power management for Li-Ion rechargeable batteries -Data logging in micro-SD memory card -3D-motion raw data measurement (acceleration, angular rate, magnetometer and barometric altimeter). -Yaw, pitch and roll calculation based on calibrated sensors data. -Configurable operation conditions for very low power consumption. -Up to 200Hz inertial motion data rates. -Multi-constellation GNSS module (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and SBAS) with integrated patch antenna. -Configurable wireless connectivity for creating wireless sensor networks. -Reduced size: 55.0 × 35.2 × 13.5 mm (60 × 40 × 24 mm with plastic housing and battery) -Weight: 19.5 g (51 g with plastic housing and battery) This technology is suitable to be integrated in many different projects from different sectors such as motion data logging, location-based services, search & rescue, research, outdoors & sports, drones, IoT (Internet of Things), intelligent transport systems, etc. The company is looking for international ICT partners willing to integrate this technology within their projects under commercial agreement with technical assistance.
