In the case of endothermic engines exhaust or processes in which it is unused, or even directly produced by biomass boilers or other sources, the waste heat can be recovered for the steam generation through a heat exchanger. The such produced steam can be used to feed the new steam engine, featured by a high efficiency (up to 30%), being compatible with that of large turbines used only in giant multi-megawatt systems. A wide range of applications can be envisaged, particularly regarding the the powers between 10 and 1000 kW which, for reasons of poor performance and therefore uneconomic use of the existing equipment, are not usually taken into consideration. The innovative engine, featured by technical solutions covered by the patent, can exploit the physical properties of the steam, having solved basic problems such as the tightness at high pressures and the frictions containment or cancellation. The steam engine can be therefore a valid and efficient solution to produce energy without CO2 emissions, even in dislocated or isolated location. The company is looking for financial support for the final stage of the engine development. It also offers technical co-operation to engineering and manufacturing companies interested in the engine production and commercialization. The proposed collaboration types are financial, joint-venture or technical co-operation agreement.
