Seeking collaboration with European companies in autonomous forklift design and development

Summary

A Singaporean SME in logistics automation with a strong background in Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs) is seeking European forklift companies to collaborate in the design and development of autonomous forklifts, with a view to supply innovative autonomous forklift solutions to the growing logistics sector in Singapore and globally. The SME is seeking research cooperation and licensing agreements with potential European forklift design and development SME partners.

Technical Specification or Expertise Sought

The Singaporean company is seeking European manufacturer collaborators who specialise in the design and development of forklifts and is keen to develop further in the autonomous forklift arena.

Partner sought

The ideal collaborator is an European SME who designs, develops and manufactures its own line of forklifts. Potential partners should be keen in innovative research cooperation or licensing collaborations with Asian companies, and interested to enter the autonomous forklift market in partnership with this Singaporean AGV company. Being the domain knowledge owner in forklift designs, the forklift company will work in tandem with the Singaporean AGV company to co-develop autonomous forklifts. The company is not looking at partnerships with forklift distributors at this stage.

Description

Singapore is an anchor location for major logistics firms, with the top 25 global players conducting operations here. Many of these companies have key logistics and supply chain operations, including regional or global HQ functions, specialised capabilities and innovation activities based here. The Singapore SME has near 20 years of experience in the industry, supplying and servicing these companies with its end-to-end robotic Industrial 4.0 solutions. Currently, the company is designing and developing its own line of AGVs for logistics use and has the key capabilities to cross over to the autonomous forklift market. The company is seeking European forklift research, design and development SMEs (11-500) as collaboration partners and envisages research cooperation agreements or licensing agreements where novel autonomous forklift solutions are developed to serve the growing demand for automated logistics.

How it works

  • Tell us about yourself
  • We’ll discuss with you
  • We put the right partners in touch

EEN help you find the right partner, rather than you going it alone.

Our role is to review and collate the most suitable submissions, and then send them to the client who posted the opportunity. We consult with you, and the client, to make the process professional and easy.

These are live opportunities. Your registration of interest on the site is just like a professional approach to a business at a networking event. To stand the best chance of success, make your submission really sing. Sell why the client who posted the opportunity should work with you. Excite them. Ask questions. Try and avoid copy and pasting words from elsewhere.

Once the client has chosen their partner, we'll introduce them over email and keep in touch with both parties to see how it's going. Sometimes things progress quickly. Sometimes because of changing priorities for either party, things progress slowly, but you never know - your next big business break could start right here.
